STROKES OF THOUGHTS, a painting solo exhibition of Jess Chan Sau In, starts from 8th to 25th of May in CREATIVE MACAU.

The artist uses Tao’s thoughts as her main inspiration for painting this specific canvas. The dogma in Tao philosophy is to observe the regular pattern of nature but encountering it. Be still and have deep thoughts that are the recommend practice in our daily life in order to have good understanding of the Universe. Jess gave a visual and poetic expression with her paintings though she named it “abstract manifestations”. It is just like reading an Eastern literature and poetry by looking at them: trees, leaves, water, birds, lagoon, river, water-fall, wind and warm breeze. All of these could evoke our ulterior emotions.
