Creative Macau in collaboration with Luciana Leitão, launched a series of TALKS about literature and publishing.
Under the topic of WRITING FICTION, the speakers will talk about their published books, its sources and inspiration. And also what motivated them to participate in literary contests.

Joe Tang
born in Shanghai, grew up in different cities such as Shanghai, Nanchang, Guangzhou, Macau and London; now lives in Macau with his family. His works include Novel – “The Lost Sprit” (Macao Novella Prize Winner), “Fortune Switcher” and ”Assassin”(Macau Literature Award Winner); published his book of essays “Words From Thoughts” ; Children Drama Play – “Journey to the West”, Macao Folktale-series “Stone Lion” and “Stone of Wishes”, etc.
Luciana Leitão
born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1981, Luciana Leitão has been working as a journalist since 2005. In Portugal and in Macau she has worked for different publications, including the Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias and the local newspapers Ponto Final, Tai Chung Pou and Hoje Macau. Currently, she works for De Ficção Multimedia Projects. In 2009, she published a short-stories book called ‘Genti di Macau’. The journalist received the Orient Foundation 2009 Journalism award for her story titled ‘A Condição Humana”, published in the Portuguese daily newspaper Hoje Macau on May 2008.
Zenon Arthur Siloran Udani
earned his PhD from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. He’s currently a faculty member of the business school of the University of Macau and a teaching fellow at the University’s Honours College. He’s also a regular contributor of Macau Business Daily. He is the first prize winner of the English version of the Short Story competition launched by Macau Daily Times in 2011, with a story entitled, ‘Mommy, come home’.
