Organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) and the Women’s General Association of Macau, the “À procura do emprego ideal” series of activities arranged a visit by teachers and students from Pui Va Secondary School at Creative Macau on 18th June, with the aim of helping students to get to know about professions related to artistic work and arts administration, as well as the current situation in the sector, so that they can plan their careers well ahead of time.
During the visit, the art administrator began by introducing Creative Macau to the students and the artist of the ongoing exhibition took the students on a tour of the works showcased so that they could learn more about the process of artistic creation. They then exchanged views with the students, presented art-related subjects in higher education and employment, and shared their work experience. In addition, with frequent and enthusiastic interactions between the two parties, the students posed questions about the current situation and prospects of the industry, giving positive feedback and expressing that they had learnt a lot.
Creative Macau attaches great importance to the career development of young people and is committed to collaborating with schools, organisations and institutions in Macau to organise different types of visits in order to enable young students to gain deeper understandings of Creative Macau as well as the development of creative industries in Macau through first-hand experience.
