Nelson M S Silva

Born in 1990 in Vila Praia de Âncora, Portugal, Nelson is a passionate architect and photographer. Fascinated by nature from a young age, he bought his first camera early on, using it to capture daily life.
Nelson studied Architecture at the University of Minho and spent a transformative year in Trondheim, Norway, igniting his love for travel and diverse cultures.

After completing his Master’s, he worked as an Architect in Portugal for two years. In 2018, he moved to Macau, where he flourished in both architecture and photography. During the pandemic, he expanded his photographic skills, venturing into analog photography.
Nelson is a partner at LBA Architecture & Planning and has earned recognition for his work, including the 2nd prize at the 2024 Macau Architectural Photography Competition.

He uses photography as a way to document places while traveling, seeking to engage with locations on architectural and cultural levels.
