João Nuno Marques

João Nuno Marques graduated from Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP), holding a master in Architectural Heritage, amongst other architectural related post graduations. He has developed his professional career in offices in Portugal, Spain, Germany, and Turkey before moving to Macau in 2017 to work as an architect for various companies. In addition, he is a board member of CURB (Center for Architecture and Urbanism in Macau) and has served as a visiting academic at the University of Saint Joseph.

He uses drawing not only as part of his work process but also as a way to document places while traveling by sketching in situ, seeking to engage with the places on architectural and cultural levels.
