Felipe Wong F.E.W.

Felipe Wong, also known as F.E.W. or FEWONEZ, is a multidisciplinary artist and designer with over two decades of experience in graphic design, illustration, and urban art. He began his career in the advertising industry in Costa Rica, working with global brands such as Nokia, Subway, KFC, and Honda, before transitioning to the commercial toy industry in 2010. As a content and art director in Hong Kong, he developed IP brands and licenses for markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.

In 2014, Felipe co-founded Nativo Art and Design with his partner and wife, Anny Chong, to focus on brand identity, art, and intellectual property for children’s toy brands, serving clients worldwide. Around the same time, he launched the AAFK street art duo alongside Anny (ANHZ). Together, they have created murals and graffiti art across China and participated in urban art festivals in Asia and Europe, establishing a strong presence in the global street art scene.

Today, Felipe continues to expand his creative practice through Nativo Toy Workshop, where he develops exclusive art toys, artistic products, illustrations, and comics under his own brands. He is also the co-founder, creative director, and curator of Toy Academy, an international art toy festival in Macau, China, which ran for three editions and showcased the work of Latin American artists.

Felipe has further contributed to the arts community by co-organizing a comic art exhibition in Macau for Costa Rican artists, which was later featured at the 29th International Comic Conference in Anyang, China, in 2023, with support from the Macau Anime and Toys Association. Additionally, he has co-produced and directed art toy events in Costa Rica and Macau, collaborating with creators across 10 cities worldwide.

Felipe’s work bridges commercial design, urban art, and cultural exchange, reflecting his passion for creativity and collaboration across diverse mediums and communities.
