Shanxi Province, “west of the mountains”. One third of China’s coal resources lie there. But also seeds of development in a sustainable way. Qinxian County, in Shanxi province, recently launched a campaign to build 100,000 ecological farms, which will enrich local farmers and promote sustainable and eco-friendly agriculture. This is the province from where these faces come. Simple people that caught my attention and made me capture their images. These I share with you now.
