“Mak, the Friendly Dragon of the City” was a collection of children’s storybooks that drew inspiration from Macau’s rich cultures, traditions, and fascinating features of Macau. The protagonist, Mak, was a green dragon who sported a white T-shirt that reflected the colors of the Macau Administrative Region’s flag. Through Mak’s adventures, readers were introduced to a diverse cast of friends hailing from different corners of the globe, and were taken on a tour of the city’s many wonders. The books were written in three langauges: Chinese, Portuguese, and English.
