Tchusca Songo

Tchusca Songo, born in Cabinda, Angola in 1978, came to Macau in 2006. Tschusca obtained her Degree in Product Design from the University of Saint Joseph in Macau in 2012. Since then, she has been working and residing in Macau. She has also participated in woodblock printing, traditional lantern making, photography, jewelry making, plastic arts and puppet workshops and related exhibitions. In 2018, she obtained the special mention of the jury at the exhibition “Anno Cannis” which involved artists from all sectors of art community in Macau. Environment and trash recycling are the general themes that cross among all her artworks. Therefore, she has often been invited by local associations which concerned about the same issues, and she has actively participated in their activities and exhibitions.
